Beach clean ups are essential but even more important are individuals taking personal responsibility to clean up every beach they visit. Most critical of all, of course, is to stop the flow of trash into our oceans, mainly plastics. Education is crucial to help people understand so that they will be compelled to protect what they love.
The Cousteau family has been at the helm of educating the public. Their continued devotion to our oceans is truly a gift to us all.
