Tangaroa Ocean Care Society (Civil Society) Goals: creating awareness in the community of marine environmental and conservation issues through marine environmental science projects; and proactively participating in and organising marine conservation projects which address marine conservation issues. -
Tapwater.org (Business, Education) Tapwater.org is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to reduce plastic bottle waste in landfills by changing attitudes to tap water. They have launched a scheme to make tap water more accessible on the high street. A tap water map highlights participating cafés, pubs and shops enabling people to locate free tap water refills using their mobile phone or the Internet. Although relatively new, the scheme is picking up pace and there are already over 1,000 tap water refilling stations. In addition to the scheme, Tapwater.org have designed a high quality, stylish, stainless steel reusable bottle. -
Tara Expeditions (Business, Civil Society, Research) Finance the French scientific research on the impact of climate change on ecosystems, educate the public about environmental issues and disseminate scientific data for educational purposes. -
Beth Terry (Writer; Founding Member). Beth is the author of My Plastic-Free Life, the number one blog and resource on plastic-free living, combining useful information about plastic-free alternatives with personal stories and personal rants. In addition to reducing their personal plastic consumption, readers are invited to join the Show Your Plastic Trash Challenge, collecting their plastic waste for a week or more to understand their personal plastic impact. Beth is also a Plastic Pollution Coalition advisor and contributing editor for BlogHer.com. She recently published a how-to guide for her life: "Plastic-Free: How I Kicked the Plastic Habit and How You Can Too". -

The People's Movement (Business) A clothing retailer which stands for using organic, recycled, and repurposed materials in their products wherever possible as they constantly search for the better option. They're also fighting against single-use plastics, cleaning them from our oceans, and up-cycling them into materials for sneakers, re-usable totes, and accessories. -
Think Beyond Plastics (Business) Designed to be a business incubator, Think Beyond Plastics will encourage environmental entrepreneurs to develop durable alternative to single-use plastics. The participants will pledge to shift our societies away from the disposable habits that poison our oceans and land, eliminate our consumption of throwaway plastics, and begin embracing a culture of sustainability. -
Three Little Birds Design Company (Business). 3LB produces reusable snack and sandwich bags, waste-free lunch kits and tote bags. All of their products are hand-crafted/hand-dyed and feature U.S. grown organic cotton. 3LB believes that when we utilize the resources closest to us and demand that our products are produced using best practices, we can promote change within our communities -

Trash for Teaching (Business; Youth; Education) Collects clean and safe cast-off materials from manufacturing processes (that would otherwise become trash) and repurposes them as educational resources -
Trash Patch (Business) A team of designers and researchers banding together and looking for synergies and partnerships with industries, in order to tackle the plastic marine debris problem. -
True2o (Business). Electronically manages a large inventory of reusable containers distributed throughout your area. By registering with True2O, you can access these containers filled with clean, filtered water at many of the places you currently go. Each registered member receives a set (or "quiver") of bottles that they can check in and out at any participating retail location, whenever they like. -
Two Hands Project (Education) Two Hands Project is a global anti-Plastic Pollution initiative which changes people's perception of plastic through short 30-minute clean-ups of their favorite places. (Doing "Two Hands" is an activity, one that can be done by anyone, regardless of who they are and where they are from, or any affiliations they hold). Individuals and groups are also encouraged to share their plastic pollution photos on our Facebook page, which further inspires others to join in caring for their special places and rethink plastic.
