  • Transition Town Manchester (Civil Society) The Transition Town Manchester Initiative is a local group working to envision, create, and realize a sustainable local community in Manchester, Vermont and surrounding towns.
  • Trash for Teaching (Business; Youth; Education) Collects clean and safe cast-off materials from manufacturing processes (that would otherwise become trash) and repurposes them as educational resources
  • Trash Patch (Business) A team of designers and researchers banding together and looking for synergies and partnerships with industries, in order to tackle the plastic marine debris problem.
  • True2o (Business). Electronically manages a large inventory of reusable containers distributed throughout your area. By registering with True2O, you can access these containers filled with clean, filtered water at many of the places you currently go. Each registered member receives a set (or "quiver") of bottles that they can check in and out at any participating retail location, whenever they like.
  • Two Hands Project (Education) Two Hands Project is a global anti-Plastic Pollution initiative which changes people's perception of plastic through short 30-minute clean-ups of their favorite places. (Doing "Two Hands" is an activity, one that can be done by anyone, regardless of who they are and where they are from, or any affiliations they hold). Individuals and groups are also encouraged to share their plastic pollution photos on our Facebook page, which further inspires others to join in caring for their special places and rethink plastic.
  • Van Jones (Writer; Government) Van Jones is a globally recognized, award-winning pioneer in human rights and the clean-energy economy. Van has helped start three successful non-profit organizations: the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, Color of Change and Green For All. He is the best-selling author of the definitive book on green jobs: The Green-Collar Economy. He served as the green jobs advisor in the Obama White House in 2009. Van is currently a senior fellow at the Center For American Progress. Additionally, he is a senior policy advisor at Green For All. Van also holds a joint appointment at Princeton University, as a distinguished visiting fellow in both the Center for African American Studies and in the Program in Science, Technology and Environmental Policy at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.

  • Wallace J Nichols, Ph. D. (Science Advisors, Founding Member): Marine biologist, California Academy of Sciences. Dr. Wallace “J.” Nichols is a scientist, activist, community organizer, author and dad. He works to inspire a deeper connection with nature. J. is a Research Associate at California Academy of Sciences, founder of Ocean Revolution, an international network of young ocean advocates, and Science Advisory Board Chair for the Plastic Pollution Coalition. He earned his MEM in Environmental Policy and Economics from Duke University’s Nicholas School and his PhD in Wildlife Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from University of Arizona. He advises a motivated group of international graduate students and serves as an advisor to numerous boards.
  • Waterkeeper Alliance (Civil Society) Founded in 1999 by environmental attorney and activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and several veteran Waterkeeper Organizations, Waterkeeper Alliance is a global movement of on-the-water advocates who patrol and protect over 100,000 miles of rivers, streams and coastlines in North and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa.

  • Whaleman Foundation (Research) The Whaleman Foundation is a public IRS 501 (c) (3) non-profit research, education, conservation, and wildlife film production organization dedicated to preserving and protecting our ocean world.
